Moseley Bog
Once a secondary millpond for nearby Sarehole Mill, Moseley Bog is now a nature reserve with ancient woodland and Bronze Age burnt mounds. It was a childhood playground for J.R.R. Tolkien who lived nearby and inspired the wild forests in his books.
